The darkness engulfed her as she stumbled through the unfamiliar woods. Her heart pounded in her chest, sweat pouring down her face as she realized that she had been lost for hours.
"I should have listened to him," Sally thought, glancing back at the direction from which she had come. "He warned me not to go into these woods alone."
But curiosity and adventure got the best of Sally, who was now paying a heavy price for ignoring warnings.
"Hello?" She called out into the darkness. Only silence met her ears.
Sally trudged on until finally, a light emerged ahead. On closer examination, it turned out to be an old house with its porch light flickering dimly.
"Maybe there's someone inside who can help," Sally thought hopefully.
The door creaked loudly as Sally stepped over the threshold of what seemed like an abandoned home with cobwebs everywhere - It was silent and eerie inside except for some faint whispers off in another room somewhere in this place: "Help!"
This sent chills running down Sally’s spine; heart pounding faster trying to decipher where they were coming from. Then again: “Help me!!!” At this point tears streamed down her cheeks while fear took over- knowing that came with no sense of directions yet surrounded by ghastliness beyond. Apparently Inside screams grew louder upon walking past one particular corner: Nameless voice: I actually heard you before I appeared here.” Sally: Your voice is scaring me… Can’t you believe I also need help to orientate myself around here?
