About our kids stories

Short stories for kids about small heroes and big discoveries: a girl who finds a lost puppy in the woods, a turtle who leaves his pond for the first time, a squirrel who gets the stolen golden acorn back, a rabbit who wins over a whole forest with kindness. Each one is a complete story in simple words, with a happy ending and usually a lesson about sharing, honesty, courage or being a good friend.

They're written for children of about five to nine, to read together or on their own, and take around five minutes. Under each story you'll find questions to talk about and a few new words, which makes them handy in the classroom too. About a third of them, including the most popular, can be played as audio.
